— IRIS International, Inc. (NASDAQ: IRIS)
announced today that it expects to file a five-day extension with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to the filing of its Form 10-Q for the third
quarter ended September 30, 2006. The Company will request the extension because it does not expect to complete the preparation of the 10-Q by the initial filing
deadline of Nov. 9 as an accelerated filer.
The Company expects to announce its third quarter financial results concurrent with the 10-Q filing after market close on Tuesday,
Nov. 14, 2006, and to host a conference call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern time that day.
