IRIS INTERNATIONAL TO HOLD ANNUAL SHAREHOLDERS MEETING ON JUNE 13

CHATSWORTH, CA, May 22, 2008 - IRIS International, Inc. (NASDAQ: IRIS), a leading manufacturer of automated in-vitro diagnostics systems and consumables for use in hospitals and commercial laboratories worldwide, today announced that its Annual Shareholder Meeting will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time, at the Company's headquarters, 9172 Eton Avenue, Chatsworth, Calif. Shareholders and members of the investment community are welcome to attend.

Following the formalities of the meeting, IRIS Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer César García will give a business presentation, followed by a tour of the Company's facilities and a demonstration of its new product offerings.
